Birthday freebies are offers that many brands share to help you celebrate your special day, like a free treat, a discount, or bonus rewards. Some are loyalty freebies for people who've shopped with the merchant before, others are complimentary with a purchase, and some are completely free just for having a birthday. The Birthday Freebies gathers (and regularly verifies) these deals from popular brands and local spots, all in one place, so you can easily see which brands are waiting to celebrate with you.

(Fun fact: It was born out of someone's yearly experience of missing out on unknown birthday freebies, and on one birthday realized that a site like this would help them, their family and friends, and maybe you, too!)

This site is happily, independently run from Toronto, Ontario. Merchant websites are checked manually, and sometimes merchants are contacted directly, in an effort to validate each offer at least once a year. Tips and corrections reported by visitors have been a huge help in keeping the directory accurate and complete, especially when birthday offer terms are updated by merchants every now and then. The Birthday Freebies appears to be the first dedicated birthday freebies site of its kind, updated all year round, and it's now visited by thousands of Canadians every week.
